(More customer reviews)I bought this because I am always losing my cellphone, and I thought it would be a great idea to have a transmitter that goes off whenever I get a certain distance away from my phone. Although the product works as advertised, I was hoping for something with a louder, more persistent alarm - this one beeps intermittently at a fairly low volume. Good if you tend to leave your phone in restaurants, bad if you've left it on the bus.
There are two ranges for the tag: one about fifteen feet, the other about thirty. I suppose this is okay if you're in the park or something, but if you're looking for something closer, this product is not for you.
Bottom line: I like having the security tag because it gives me a bit of peace of mind. I wish there were more options for range, and a louder alarm.
