(More customer reviews)I bought two of these phones and it is so difficult to hear the person that I'm talking to - I'm glad they were inexpensive because I'm going to have to buy new phones!
If you put a finger over the microphone it eliminates the noise, but then, of course, you can't talk until you move your finger. A headset helps somewhat.
Do not buy this awful phone!
