(More customer reviews)Have had several Lowrance units and was moderately pleased. However, I purchased this unit because of the detail of the downscan images. Upon installing the unit I found there is not enough cable from the transom mount on an 18 foot boat to the consol. Amazingly Lowrance just happens to make an extension cable for an additional $30.00. So in order to complete the installation I had to order this cable. After not receiving a "your order has shipped" e mail they finally told me that they do not have the cable and won't be in stock for an additional 2 weeks. So for 1 month I have a unit that does not work and wires hanging under the console. Just wondering why Lowrance would not spend the additional 20 cents worth of wire so that there would be enough cable for the typical installation. The the actual cost of this unit is closer to
$350.00. Hope this review help someone else avoid this hassle and additional cost.
